picked up Enemy At the Gates in a trade. Long time trade target, not sure I have any grail games to obtain anymore.
Also bought; Hanabi, Arctic Scavengers, Mundus Novas, and Tulipmania. The last two were heavily discounted so are a bit of a guess as to whether they will be any good but i tend to like stock markets and goods trading.

Sent out an email to my local comic book store guy. "Can you pick me up a copy of Batman Love Letters" and pressed send. Later on realized he might be looking for an obscure Batman fanboy comic or book so I quickly sent another email and explained it was a card game. It should arrive on Wednesday.

I was at the bookstore and browsing their board game section and saw Ogre Pocket Edition. I decided to buy it. I don't know anything about Ogre, nor have I ever played a wargame. I figured for $3 I could find out.

Last night I got in on the Miniature Market "March Madness" deal and got:
Hotel Tycoon
Escape: Zombie City
Heroes Wanted
The Downfall of Pompeii (Thanks, Steve Weeks)
Was looking for some simpler games to play with the fam, and these should be it.

Just bought the Civilizations expansion for Clash of Cultures yesterday - my god there is so much miniature porn all in the one box now. Can't wait to try it out. I really enjoyed the base game, but thought there could have been a bit more variety in the land units - hoping the cavalry and elephants help this.

I think the new army units is the weakest part of the game. They work fine but I really do not think the game needed more unit types. Unfortunately the rest of the expansion explicitly ties into the cav and elephants so you can't just pullt hem.

Absolutely great OCS game. Superseded only by Case Blue.

March of the Ants - I like the games it takes its inspiration from and the setting.
Rune Age + O&A - Will probably play this mostly with two (or solo).

It is a good light wargame, and a very good travel light wargame. The rules are straightforward, and there is a high level of carnage. I with there were more three dollar war games of that scope and caliber out there.

If you want a live vassal game with skype pm me, I am pretty flexible on timezones. I tend to find pbem a drag though.

Like SuperflyTNT I also picked up a game at the Miniature Market sale - The Supreme Commander. Still a sucker for strategic WW2 games. I will probably get Unconditional Surrender at some point as well.

I had some store credit at my local game store burning a hole in my pocket, so I picked up Wiz-War. I've never played it before, but based on everything I've read here, it sounds awesome. i just hope I can convince my wife to play. The conversation when I got home went like this:
Wife: "What'd you get at the game store?"
Me: "It's called Wiz-War."
Wife [flat stare]: "Is it about wizards?"
Me: " .... yes."
Wife: [weary sigh]
She's not much into the fantasy genre, unfortunately.

I have some money saved up and I can't play many of my games with my current group of hardcore Netrunner players so I've been looking for new games to buy.
First, I'm asking around for a copy of Yspahan and its expansion. I've wanted to get this game for years and it's cheap so I think it was time for me to start asking around. Sadly, the game isn't available in Spain at a logical price so I'm going to have to buy from an international seller and pay shipping.
The other game I'm thinking about buying is Pax Porifiana. The deluxe Spanish version isn't actually expensive and I've been told the game plays with three, so why not? It seems better than other alternatives I've considered like Brass (Not great with 3, yet another Wallace game), Gemblo (Not a game to play everyday for hours), or Fury of Dracula (Impossible to find, too expensive).
Still, finding games that are great for three and deep enough to satiate a bunch of hardcore players is diffcult :/
