Greenland gives the appearance of being a historical sim, Vikings looked like a pop culture game. Stealing someones loved ones is fine if you study it as a cold hearted elitist anthropologist but damnable if you have a beer in your hand.

Yes, for Walrusgate!! I love it.
Could we generate some nerd rage about interspecies marriage and whatnot?
Do Walruses have giant cocks or what?

Infiltration is about $16.50 on Amazon right now, so I've taken a gamble on it. Vaccarino is an amber, if not red flag to me, but some reviews made it look like it might be alright.

It looks like DungeonQuest: The Card Game from the sounds of it. It's not apparently great as a 2-player game which is the only thing that's kept me from buying it.

Yeah, it is very much Dungeonquest-influenced. No, it really isn't that great for two. But for four, five players it's pretty darn good. But it is one of those games that feels like it's missing something. I certainly don't believe that every game needs special powers...but Infiltration is one that could use them. I also wish that it weren't Netrunner/Android. This game would be WAY cooler if it had a French noir, Jean-Pierre Melville heist theme.
Worth $16, definitely.

I'll most likely be playing it with 4-5 players so that sounds good. On the setting, I'd guess it was Android Netrunner's turn to get its art assets rinsed through one more time.

I've only played it with 6 and found it to be slow and kind of boring. 4 would have been much better.

I missed out on the recent price drop on Sentinels of the Multiverse, but I saw today that the expansion, Sentinels of the Multiverse: Vengeance is $14 on Amazon. I had a quick look on BGG to see what people said about treating it as a stand-alone game. Most comments were "Don't do it!" with a lone dissenting voice. So, challenge accepted.

Fleet Commander: Nimitz came in a few days back. I'm excited because it'll finally give me a solo game where I can run the Pacific Theater where a few others just never worked for me. And I love the other Field Commander games so this excites me...TONS of counters! 8 sheets of them.
And my postal carrier just dropped off the Robinson Crusoe Promo Pack direct from Poland. Ignacy continues to impress me with his attention to detail in this game. Also included is a nice looking, I assume coaster with a linen finish and they tossed in the spyglass promo as well which was a nice little surprise.

I didn't so much buy it as receive it for Christmas, but I am now the proud owner of WizWar! Going through the rules now and can't wait to play. I think many in my group will dislike the game for its high level of random insanity. But I do have access to a few people who enjoy fun.

My son got Dungeons & Dragons Attack Wing, whose 40 page rulebook is making ASL Starter Kit look more reasonable each day!
I got The Battle of Bushy Run, which chimes in at four very short pages. A nifty little magazine game about the Seven Years War.

I got Tokaido. Hey, they tried. It's better than a retheme of Monopoly I guess.
To be fair, they relied upon the advice of a store clerk at a store where the clerks no little to nothing about games.
Stepdaughter: Yah it's by the same guys who made some super popular game, Seven something.
Me: Seven Wonders?
Step: Yeah that's it!
Me:Great! (Inward groan)

My wife got me cutthroat caverns. She read the description somewhere and decided it sounds like me. <3
Luckily, I've played it and I like it.

Well if you don't mind the static board, I think Tokaido is a decent feather-weight game.
