I was going to wait and slap together an order from CSI or somewhere, but I stopped into my FLGS and there they were and I was unable to resist their allure. That list was close to what I was considering throwing together in my order.

Homeland because I'm easily swayed by peer pressure.

I'm a sucker for space games. I've had my eye on these two for awhile. I bought Space Empires 4x and the Close Encounters expansion--I went ahead and pre-ordered Replicators too. I'm looking forward to running a few solo games to learn the rules so I can teach the game to my son.

I just bought Space Empires and will probably buy the expansion after I have seen how it works.
Just purchased Breaking the Chains a modern war game from Compass Games.
Looks good and highly suitable for solitaire. It's modern naval fighting where subs are, pretty much, always detected so all that bullshit hidden movement has gone.
Tried to buy it off some prick at BGG. I gently explained to him that he would ship to NYC where my courier company will send it to me, at my expense. He refused to ship to 'third parties or proxy recipients' in a snooty email. I responded by asking him what his problem was as Amazon US, New Egg and the IRS all communicate with me this way. I explained to him that me telling him it was a courier address was mere courtesy because I could just not have told him and he would have shipped it out anyway. He responded with a further snooty 'Thank you so much for your courtesy'. My response was 'You fucking typical, condescending, shitty American'. I will no doubt get a banning. Big fucking deal, I picked it up from a mail order company for $5 cheaper (thanks Repo). I wanted to get one of you guys to buy it for me and then send him a shit email but, after consideration, I thought a plain insult would be better.

Just sold my Lords of Middle Earth expansion for 140$. Now I'm sitting here wondering what I want to get. All I can see is "Thunder Road" at this point.
Andy: I am ~almost~ always near my home and if you ever need me to do a shipment for you, just let me know and have the trader send it to my address, and I'll forward. I really don't mind.

After playing my friends copy of Castles of Mad King Ludwig a lot for the past month, I finally convinced an acquaintance in poland to ship me a copy of the enhananced art polish crowdfunding version when its released.
The theme is tied so well to the design, I can't call it a euro. The design is too good to call it ameritrash. So I'm just going to call it a really great game that we have a lot of fun playing, and forget about the labelling semantics.

I've been looking at some wargames for the past few weeks here, ever since playing Hannibal RvC. Bought on ebay from a Canadian seller Imperial Stars II, Moonbase Alpha, and Sword of Rome. Sword of Rome will be a beast to get to the table with 4-5 players but it looks so fucking awesome. And the other two are 2 player games only that I can talk a couple friends into likely.

Hannibal is one of the very best games. If you like it, Washington's War is similar and also quite good. I like Sword of Rome but it is difficult to get the four or five you need to play it because it is pretty long. If it turns out that you do like it, You might give Here I Stand a look. It has similar mechanics but is a bit richer with a diplomatic side not found in SoR.

I just bought Homeland to play this weekend with da bid dabid and some others. We'll be playing Sons of Anarchy as well. Should be an awesome AT day.

Got a warning from Cocktavian for saying 'typical condescending, shitty American' in a Geek Mail. Is that even an insult??
So the recipient grassed me up to Mummy.
