Doug Garrett is a great guy. His taste in games is a bit dubious...he likes some pretty awful stuff.

Derk did say hi. Actually what he said was "I saw a picture of Mike Barnes. Is he really losing his hair that quickly. It looks like he's hiding something." And then he trotted off in search of beer.

Even Doug was disappointed with the new Euro crop from Nuremburg. They must be really bad.

In one of Doug's GoF updates he talks about a game of D&D 4th edition he played. He said that it's probably the last time for him. It was a 5 hour game and after that he played 9 Euro games in the next 5 hour period to which he said, "I'd rather play any one of those than D&D again." He also complained about downtime between turns.

It's really not his cup of tea.
