Very handy. I can sign up for projects the minute they roll out, even when I'm sitting at a green light in Baltimore during rush hour.
It's the synergy that makes this so magical.

I was like, you realize that it's a satire, a joke to make fun of people who jump on ridiculous Kickstarter projects for novelty's sake alone, and he got this look on his face. He said, "No, the joke is on the people who see you playing it, that they can't see what you're playing and you can. It's not 75$ good..."
It was at that point I realized he had backed it, and was the butt of the joke. I didn't back down from my assertion that backing 40 projects a year is insane, but I felt kind of like a shithead for the way I came across.

That was my first Kickstarter. I only did it because that price was right.

I am in for two. The wife and I get ten years out of it, then our daughter steals them as she leaves for college. Perfect plan.

That was a good pick. It was just about the perfect Kickstarter: reasonable entry point, no over-promising, lots of fun stretch goals, frequent (but not constant) updates, etc. Tasty Minstrel has it wired.stormseeker75 wrote: I backed Dungeon Roll for $15. I'll buy damned near any game for $15.

Sails of Glory maybe? I don't see anything list under Age of Sail.

Straight up, it's a much better fit for the Wings of War movement concept and they seem to have taken some care to get the movement aspects of it relatively correct. I like it. But I'd like to get one of the ships in my hands to see the overall quality and get a turn or two in to see how deep the game is before I go after it. There's a lot of games out from this era and I'm not so sure how many of them are technically superior to Wooden Ships & Iron Men. I like a brainy, broody play for this kind of thing.

Dogmatix: That was kind of a shitty thing to say. He's not dumb, not by any standard. He's just hopelessly addicted. Plus, I hired him and he was here primarily for training....ut oh
UGH! What a missed opportunity. That would've been friggin hilarious!(And, of course, you could have just said you already had your hands on a review copy and that you were showing it to him *right at that moment.*)
