I'm interested, but it's a long haul from where I am. Southwest doesn't fly to ATL, and all the other cheapo airlines don't fly here. I'd have to fly to Las Vegas first, then fly to ATL. So that's $59 plus $65 plus taxes fees and layover drinks...

Still not impossible. Let me know when things firm up.

I mean, all I have to do is take 5 shits in your foyer and Barnes will have paid for the trip, right?

hrm...same situation. gotta look into it more.

Ummm, you guys do know that if I come down I'm flying down from Montreal right? That's like a 22 hour slog by car, 6 to 7 par avion.

Suck it up you sissies!

Montreal-Atlanta is about 1400 miles. No small trip.

However, from my place (direct if it existed), it's about 2000 miles. Since I'd have to go through somewhere else first (Vegas most likely), it looks like about 6 hours of total flight time, plus an airline change.

I don't even want to ponder the notion of a road trip there.

Count me in if you can hook me up with a few Avery Rum and Coke and a couple of Euro College chicks.

6-7 hours is what it takes to cross the pond. Unless you take a transfer, Montreal-Atlanta should not take more than 3 hours tops. With a transfer, you could do it in little over 4 h.

Ottawa-NYC is roughly 1 h flight, plus 30 minutes of waiting on the tarmac or in the skies for your turn to take-off/land.

Of course, the direct flights are probably the most expensive ones too.

Nothing cheap takes less than 6 hours-- that's not counting the fact that I'll probably grab a lift in to Plattsburgh, NY, or Burlington, VT, to further cut down on ticket cost-- that tacks on an extra hour or so. If there's no hold up crossing the border.

So far I don't se anything costing me less than 350$.

It'll still be worth it if I hit Varsity and Mary Mac's. It'll be my Heartclogging Tour of Hotlanta.

Thats quite a committment of time and money. I paid a bit more for Trashfest but I had hotel and event fees added in. If you can make it happen, I'll make it worth your while. I'm trying to tie Frank down on dates and will post it ASAP.

As soon as you have that date nailed down I'm gonna start loading up on red meat. Then a month before the due date I'll load up on fiber.

All I need for you to do then is point me to Barnes' vehicle, you know, as soon as you're done cleaning up the mess some other asshole made in your foyer.

Hrm. Already heading to ATL for New Years, but the wife shouldn't mind if I roll down there yet again in the late winter/early spring... Keep me posted on the dates so I can sketch out a plan with Mrs.Matix....

Heya, Almost firmed up. I'm getting with Launius today to see what portion of February would be best to block in for his clubhouse. There are other options as well but that one is *Free* and has a nice space for gaming.

Hopefully I'll know something by this evening. After that I'm going to start pestering people to come.
