Arkham Horror should be on that list somewhere just by the virtue that it gets mentioned at least once every other day here.
Agreed! Then the question becomes, what would you ditch from the list? My choices would be Tomb, World of Warcraft adn Slapshot. So my list would look like this:
1) Fury of Dracula (paradigm for AT design)
2) Arkham Horror (best horror-coop game)
3) War of the Ring (highly regarded game)
4) Conflict of Heroes (AT style war game)
5) Dune (expensive and rarely played)
6) Battlestar Galactica (game z)
7) Awful Green Things From Outer Space (venerable two-player game)
8) Twilight Imperium 3 (hardly played anymore)
9) Descent (best D&D crawler)
10) Last Night On Earth: The Zombie Game (best zombie/dicefest battling game that drips pure theme)
And even so, I don't think I need two co-ops on my list, so Battlestar Galactica could be replaced by something equally space-themed like Galaxy Trucker, maaaaaybe...

Or how about "Ten Things Better than TOMB". Here's my list:
1) MUNCHKIN
2) The Go-Bots
3) Church
4) The presidency of George W. Bush
5) Banana and pickle sandwiches on rye
6) Male pattern balding
7) 300lb bikini models
8) Staph infections
9) Massive layoffs
10) STAR WARS: EPISODE I

I think Fantasy Flight Games would be #1 on the list. We'd all agree at some point to stop squabbling and just fork over our fortunes to Sr. Petersen.
That said, Beer would factor prominently as a write-in.

And given that my family is currently suffering from Massive Layoffs, I can tell you that Tomb is better. MUCH better. Playing Caylus repeatedly with hygiene-challenged fun murderers would be better.

Sorry to hear that Susan- I've just come out of Massive Layoff suffering, so I definitely can sympathize.
But for the record, they are listed at #9, which is pretty low on the list. That makes them only slightly better than EPISODE I.
"Worse than Go-Bots", that's harsh.
I didn't even have to specifically cite the Rock Lords to get the point across.
TOMB is better than G.W.'s Presidency. Let's not get into hyperbole here.
Be that as it may, but TOMB caused more direct and profound damage to my personal lifestyle. It's a question of scale here.
That said, Beer would factor prominently as a write-in.
Huh, I haven't heard of BEER. Do you know the designer and/or publisher along with the box dimensions and net weight so I can add it to my "to play" list?

It's not a hard call, really: time that I spend struggling to open Beer is time that could have been spent playing games. If I'm going to fit six rather brain-burning games into four hours, and still catch the cross-town bus to the Loopin' Louie tournament, every second is precious.
So I give beer a 1. I've already taken it back to the thrift store I got it from.
