Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)
Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.
Nintendo Switch
Breath of the Wild is stellar. Like in the discussion for best games of all time stellar.
Snipperclips is really fun. I'm excited to watch other people play it, which is weird.
1-2-Switch should have been a pack-in. About 1/3 of the games are legitimately fun, the rest are dumb or just kind of there to show off the JoyCon features.
I have no hardware issues, everything works great. The console is in a room without much for interference so I haven't been bit by the JoyCon desync issue at all. Still feel Nintendo should rectify that issue somehow though.
The JoyCon controllers are more adequate individually (Snipperclips) than I expected. I'm not super comfortable playing with a controller loose in each hand, but I find the included grip perfectly comfortable.
Not much else to report, too busy playing Zelda.

What's the consensus? It'll be all about Splatoon 2 at our casa (and SSFII HD eventually).
Are these systems still for sale anywhere? How often are restocks?

My friend managed to randomly snag one at Target a week ago. They're still a pain in the ass to track down and the demand doesn't seem to be subsiding any time soon. I say if you see one don't even think, just buy it! So far I'm loving mine.

Or is it still all Zelda, all the time?

1. Zelda: Breath of the Wild - by FAR the best game
2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - excellent
3. Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove
4. World of Goo
5. Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment
Puyo Puyo Tetris is getting a lot of attention but that's chicken blandori
but yeah, looking at that list... that's a very new system. lol. Really only the top two are truly excellent.

We also have Shovel Knight, with the free new missions, on the wii u.
3 out of 5 we already own...damn...why should I shell out $300 for this again?

The kicker though is my son's infatuation with Splatoon. So, Splatoon 2 is a must. He also feels that MK8 Deluxe is worth it...because it has Splatoon characters. He's being duped here, but hard to convince a 10 year old...

I haven't played with mine in a few weeks...Breath of the Wild is AMAZING, but I've not really wanted to dig back into it lately. Too much to paint. It's the only game I have for it. I thought about getting the new Blaster Master, but heard mixed things about it. I will look at ARMS, Splatoon 2 is a definite. MK8- I just can't see the point since I already have all of the DLC and enough controllers on Wii U.
There really is no compelling reason to own a Switch right now, to be honest. It's a REALLY neat little system, and I think by the end of the year it'll start to really take off in terms of software. But I would not rush out to find one today. I've thought about flipping mine and rebuying it later on when Mario and some of the other high profile stuff hits. But I have it in hand and don't want to fool with any shortages later.

I'm just afraid he isn't going to have much to play until Splatoon 2 drops.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Puyo x Tetris
Bomberman R
Fast RMX
- Zelda is a no brainer, easily one of the best titles in the series.
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best Mario Kart ever made. As a longtime proponent of the greatness of MK64 and DS since they had good racing and battle. MK 8 was perfect racing and a crappy battle mode. Thankfully they fixed that. Shine Get is a daily habit with my family, and I have played alot of online balloon battle...
- PuyoxTetris is what it sounds like, Puyo Puyo (Dr Robotnicks Mean Beans) and Tetris in unholy matrimony. I thought I was ok at Puyo and good at Tetris, then I went online...I am still decent at Tetris, but man my Puyo skills are a joke.
- Bomberman R, specifically after the patch, is a stellar Bomberman title with as silly of a story as Super Bomberman 5. Multiplayer is the reason you buy this and it delivers on every facet.
- Fast RMX is the step between Fzero and Wipeout. It is gorgeous, fairly difficult, and awesome in multiplayer, but only makes me want an Fzero even more.

Is this made by the same developers that put out that other fzero/wipeout style game on the wii u?
