So the fist game is almost over and it was good fun, despite my troops being killed left and right! This calls for revenge, of course, and the next game is already fired up! Now we're looking for a 5th player. Any of you up to the challenge?

Go to spielbyweb and look for
Game: FATTIES 2: Electric Boogaloo
PW: FAT

Players so far come from Canada, US, Belgium and Australia.

Oz raped us all. He did an excellent job of keeping his back against a wall and fighting on as few fronts as possible. Really a great game he played!

Wallenstein without a dicetower? That's the only fun part of the game! Granted, I've only played once, but it seemed like a Euro with some abstract combat tacked on. By the way, how do you simulate the effect of the dice tower in an online game? Aren't there supposed to be an unknown quantity of cubes left over in the tower after the first few battles?

The game engine enforces the rules and keeps track of the Tower.

I don't want no Wallenstein sniffers in this game Shell! The thing about hybrids in my opinion, the table tips the scale. So while I agree that this game swings both ways, I would argue we got a F:AT enforced proper 'trash game out of the latest go!

Great fun, some hilarious results at times from the "Virtual Tower" and best of all? Actual gaming with Fatties instead of just knocking around talking about wankers ;)

Get in the game!

This general rule applies: the people you are playing with determine much of the fun you'll be having. You can play great games with fun murderers (I read your Arkham Horror experience with these people, Shell; someone else talked about a fun murderer BSG session in the Blogs), and you can play Eurogames with trash talk, violence and fun. And Wallenstein has even the advantage that there is conflict, and in a game with F:ATTIES there is a lot of it.

It's true, the tower is missing and it is probably the best part of the game, but you still have these hilarious situations, where 10 of your armies go in and only 2 come out. Online play is just the next best thing.

Why am I keeping this a secret? DERF.

The game name is WestF:ATlia and the password is eugene. I'll give you guys a week or 5p, whichever comes first. First time players are welcomed, as it would be nice for me to beat someone. Rules are on the site.
