We got our security cameras installed and discovered that the (slightly odd) young woman who lives a few doors down comes onto our front porch and fishes cigarette butts out of the ash tray that is there, and smokes them.
She is really quite sweet, but doesn’t seem to be playing with a full deck. Earlier this week she stopped by and gave us a cucumber. Saturday night we found her sitting on the sidewalk in front of our house. I thought she had fallen, but she told me she was just using the street light to read her book.
Also, at least one of the neighborhood cats naps on our porch furniture.

Sure, it's all cute when it's a young woman but when -I- offer folks my cucumber is just pepper spray in the face, arrests, and restraining orders!
I put up some cameras around the house after a few car break-ins and all I discovered was the nightly patrol route of the neighborhood stray cat and/or racoon and how much my wife slips out to go shopping when she's supposed to be home studying
