Well, with what they did with the Ezio stuff, there's always the chance that Paris could be an expansion game. Executing a Templar Robespierre with a flagpole on the Bastille would be fucking awesome. It would also drive anyone with a sense of history insane with rage.

It's a brilliant setting for the next series of games, and pretty brave, as they are necessarily segueing from 'climb the building' to battlefield/wilderness gameplay. Natty Bumpo and the Highwayman? Yes, please.

I'm just hoping AC4 is set during the October Revolution. Beginning the game supporting the revolution, shanking Imperials with weapons invented by Trotsky, only to find out the Revolutionaries are riddled with Templars as they turn the revolution from something emancipatory into something controlling would be awesome.
