Marvel Unlimited App was created by Tim Champlin
My friend gave me access to his Marvel Unlimited account and it has really blown me away. I feel like Belle in Beauty and the Beast when she finds the beast's huge library. Has anyone else on here used this app before? I guess it's about $60 for a year long subscription and I think that's a great deal (though I'm using my friend's account for free). I'm still interested in purchasing some Marvel titles in hard copy form but will be a lot more picky. I'm mostly interested in using this app for series I have always wanted to check out but are hard to get a hold of, out of print, or I'm not sure if I would love it and want to give it a chance this way.
Here's what I have been reading lately...
Mark Waid's Captain America
Walt Simonson's Thor
Peter David's Incredible Hulk
Claremont's 80's X-Men. I have Days of Future Past, Dark Phoenix Saga, and God Loves, Man Kills. They are some of my favorite comic story lines ever but I wanted to read some of the other stuff that's not as readily available.
All of it's pretty good so far. I will be busy for a very long time.

Been using it for 3 years now. Very good deal.
Easy to read entire runs and they make it easy for you to find all stories to do with, say, Civil War, even if across many titles.
Well worth the cash.

I used it for a few months in the spring. Primarily, I wanted it to read comics offline on my bus ride to work.
I really dug the service and the huge number of comics you had access to. Problem was that the app was just terrible. It would frequently fail to open books that I'd downloaded. Other times, it would only open the 3-page preview version. There were several times I'd find issues in the middle of runs that simply refused to open through the app. The final straw was when an update made it so that the app would start force-closing every time I started it. Reinstalling would fix it for about two days, but I wasn't about to reinstall every two days.
From reading around, it sounded like the offline problems were pretty common. Reading online through the app appeared to work better, and reading on the website worked fine, but neither of those were what I wanted. If the app worked as advertised, I'd still be subscribing.

Their offline problems seem largely solved.
I don't have an issue reading offline (you have to download the comic first, of course).

I'd love that to be fixed. I don't know that there's a way for me to test the offline reading without resubscribing, which sucks. What I really need is a week to a month free to test and see if they fixed their shit before I give them more money.
