You got me all wrong. What I was trying to say that while you can access new music, you can't really find new music. You can't search for "gimme some west coast HC circa '82", you can search for "Black Flag", but you have got to know Black Flag before you search for it. Is this any clearer way to put it?

Barnes, you magnificent bastard. Spotify is amazing. I'm listening to completely random stuff today. Right now it's the Transplants. Earlier, it was a rap playlist from our very own Matt Thrower. This shit is awesome. I need to friend you on Facebook so I can get some of your playlists.

So far it's pretty cool. Very fast and so far it's found everything I've searched for. We'll see how long it'll stay in business with the "greyish" nature of it.

I got Spotify yesterday and then sat there and said to myself "So what do I want to listen to?" All I could think of was artists I already know with songs and albums I've listened to a dozen times. Is there a recommendation feature? That's what I like about Pandora and Last.FM is they introduce you to new stuff, even if the new stuff isn't great.

If you click on the artist it'll show related artists. Guess that is about as close as it offers.

Does spotify pull from Google+? If so that would work too. I don't know if I can search for your lists on Spotify. I'll play more this weekend.
