Looking to trade for Talisman

Alright guys, I'd like to try and trade some stuff to finally get myself a copy of Talisman. I'm also interested in a couple of expansions, so if you have a lot to trade, we might be able to do business.

I'm not loaded with stuff to trade, but I thought I'd float it here before I start shooting out more trade requests to BGG.

- Thunderstone: I have the original, Wrath of the Elements, and Dragonspire. I have all of the original boxes, but if you wanted to save on shipping I can just send it as is: entirely in the Dragonspire box. The box itself is pretty banged up (came that way), but everything inside looks great.

- The Ares Project: Got this one for Christmas, and it's proven to be too difficult to get played to really dig into it. But it's a great game, in excellent condition.

I'm especially looking for the base game of Talisman, the Reaper expansion, and the Dungeon expansion. If there's some kind of combo that could be worked out, let's try and do business. PM me if you like, but posting here is probably the more reliable way to let me know.

There's a million people trying to trade away Talisman. In fact, there's a guy on BGG who has exactly what you want; he tried to trade me all that stuff for Wrath of Ashardalon. Not gonna happen, considering all my minis are painted.

Ha, I actually wrote him a few days ago and haven't heard back. There are plenty of people on BGG who can probably help me, just thought I'd check here before heading back there.

My son went through a Talisman phase but never asks for it anymore. I just know that if I trade it though, I'll regret it.

Ares Project is tempting, and you should easily find a taker for that.

Every AT'ers collection has room in it for good ol' Talisman!

We haven't played Talisman in a few months, but to be honest, I don't think I'd ever trade it.

I go through spurts of Talisman. It might be a year, it might be three months. Regardless of how much time has lapsed two things remain constant:

1) I know i can break it out and play without having to look up any rules

2) It will be a fun time


That alone keeps it in the ol collection.

You guys are great about making me want to play Talisman, but not much good at actually hooking me up with a copy of it.

Even if you have to end up buying it, it's totally worth the money. Classic game. Only problem is, there are a lot of expansions...

I've got everything you want, i.e. also comes w/ Reaper and Dungeon, BUT here's the thing:

1. It's the Black Ind. 4th edition board, with the FFG upgrade pack;

2. I got rid of all of the Black Ind. components; which doesn't matter except that I also got rid of the level trackers that FFG didn't replace with its upgrade pack. This means that you'll have to keep track of life, etc. in some other manner; I use d20s.

3. I got rid of all the boxes, even the base game, and have been using alternative storage.

Otherwise, all of the components are in excellent shape. If these are the types of things you can live with or work around, give me a shout and we can see if a deal can be struck.
