Con Heidelberger Spieleverlag - German FFG retailer was created by Schweig!
Heidelberger Spieleverlag translates almost every FFG title into German and sells them here. They do the same with FFP, Valley Games, etc. games. So last weekend they hosted a supporter rally event in this castle:
I played many games, including Tide of Iron, Last Night on Earth, Warrior Knights, Ice Flow, A Game of Thrones, Arkham Horror, Ca$h'n'Guns Yakuza etc. They also had a copy of Agricola but nobody wanted to play it.
They had a pre-production copy of Titan(!) from Vally Games, which I unfortunately didn't get to play. The games looks great though, except for the counters because I don't like CGI in boardgames. Karl-Heinz Schmiel was there and he demoed Tribun and tested his expansion for the game, which I also didn't play. I wish I could give F:AT some more insight information, but I failed completely, being distracted by gaming.
I got free copies of Dust and Fury of Dracula and if you're going to Essen, there's a pretty high chance you'll meet me at the Heidelberger booth demoing games.
There were also rumors around that next year the event at the castle will see visitors from FFG.

That's a pretty cool venue for a rally. Were there many people in attendance?

There weren't that many. I guess about 30 people came.
@ Skeletor: I know. I plan to write a report on this year's Essen Spiel for this site though.

Looks very atmospheric. And awesome news (for me at least) that Heidelberger is picking up "Last Night". I stopped looking for it, after I never heard anything substantial, although just recently I finally found one online-shop in Germany, who had it in stock.
