I'm planning all day Saturday; Friday is still sketchy thanks to work. If I can escape the meetings, then I'll be up Friday afternoon. If I can't Saturday will be it. I want in on KP's Starcraft, which I gathered was due for a dawn [1000 on Saturday is dawn as far as I'm concerned ;)] and the recent session reports on BSG sound great... If Pete isn't sick of the sight of me at that point, I'll set him up to beat me down in a round of Espana 1936...

Almost here...

Although the info that the bathrooms might not be available on the first floor will really suck and if they put open gaming upstairs (wtf?) that'll really segregate things... Maybe AT will start its own segment of Euroquest up there - a succesionist movement perhaps?

Anyone planning on bringing Blackbeard?

I own it, but I'm not sure I'll be up there long enough to actually break it out.

Here's the general schedule so far:

Friday 11:00 - 3:00 Ti3 (Malloc, Me, Ben, Nick)

Friday 3:00 - 7:00 2 player Wargames hopefully Dogmatic can make it there Friday
afternoon so I can play 1936 if not War of Ring, NT, CC, TS or
something else

Friday night Big group games Touch of Evil, Arkham Horror Black Goat, Shadow
Hunters, Last Night on Earth, Blackbeard, Ghost Stories, Fury
of Dracula, Doom, etc

Saturday 10:00 - 1:00 StarCraft - 2 boards. I think we'll have 6 - 8 players (Ska,
Dogmatic, me, Douchey Boy, Nick, Doug, DaveD??)

Saturday 2:00 - 5:00 Battle Star Galactica (Ska Barron, Dogmatic, me, Douchey Boy
and 1 open spot).

Saturday night Big group games Touch of Evil, Arkham Horror Black Goat,Shadow
Hunters, Last Night on Earth, Blackbeard, Ghost Stories,
Prophesy, BSG (for anyone who didn't get in the first game),
Doom or(what ever we didn't play the Friday night)

Filler games: Battleball (Me and Doucheyboy vs. Zev and ???)
Shadow Hunters
Wings of War
Tumbling Dice

Any votes for Friday and Saturday night Big Group Night????

I'm putting in 1 vote for AH Black goat but I don't care if we play Friday or Saturday and if nobody else wants to play AH. I'm up for anything as long as I get to play Ti3 and StarCraft this weekend. But Black Goat is fucking great.

Hmmm... just thought I'd see if there was any interest in running an earlier game of Starcraft (9/915?) on Saturday in hopes that I'd be done in time for the second heat of Settlers. I've got my own copy, and figured a smaller game of 3 or 4 might be able to finish in that time frame - though it might be longer since it'll be my first game.

If not, no biggie - I've already decided that AT games are my priority this time after neglecting them at past cons.

Anyone for EARLY MORNING STARCRAFT?

Good to meet a few of you and many thanks to King "I'm not a Toaster, I swear" Put for snaring a table away from the hoards and generally hosting gameday on Saturday. :)

I had a blast..I hope to go to "Trashfest" this year. Saturday night capped off a great convention; thanks PetePut.

EuroQuest always has one of those "gamer defining moments" for me. This year was no different. I was passing a game of BattleBall. One of the guys (can't remember his name, sorry) had a rediculous roll he had to make to do what e had to do. He HAD to roll a 1 on a 20 sided die. HE ROLLED A ONE! The whole table (both sides) erupted in a cheer, and at that same moment a skiddish black haired woman was putting her fence down in Agricola on a nearby table. As she heard the cheers her hand scraped the fence against her Gric board, and screamed "HEY"! The Agricola GM scolded the players as if they were skateboarding inside a library. I came very close to saying something, but I just made fun of the GM for the rest of the night.

Same old story, but funny to me

Hahahah, thanks again Dave. Just doing my part as any good ameritrasher would!

I like to think of it as "The Roll Heard 'Round The Con."

And I'm generally a diplomatic person and I can see if I was the type trying to concentrate in a tournament that I wouldnt probably appreciate a bunch of yelling near me. But also, I'd do it all again =) I didnt realize it *was* a tournament game I guess and didnt realize it was the GM who'd said something. Hell, I dont even remember *what* was said... just some general scolding or something.

REMEMBER KIDS: NO FUN AT/NEAR EURO TOURNEYS! ;)

Oh it is a good thing i was not there on Sat, because my response would have been a big old Fuck off!

I know some people were there to prove they can play boring games better than the rest of the world, but some of us were there to have fun.
