Did anyone in the UK watch Being Human? I remember watching the pilot and thinking it had no chance of making it to a full series. They replaced the annoying, whingey girl and it was pretty good. The premise is that a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost share a house. It was billed as a comedy but it was definitely a drama with an occasional joke or two thrown in. It didn't even try to hide that it White Wolf inspired. There was a lot of crying. Week on week it got better and better. I can see a second series being very good now that they have got the setup out of the way. They could do with the werewolf being able to change at will though.
I buddy of mine torrented the pilot and first season and gave me a copy. I've watched the pilot and it was pretty good. I'm looking forward to watching the first season, nd I'm glad they kept the werewolf actor. Nice that there is going to be a second season, but I'm concerned at how long it might take before it actually gets filmed.
