Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)
Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.
FFG Coffin Games
Can somebody list all the FFG Coffin Games for me?
I know there's TI3, Tide of Iron, Descent, Doom, Starcraft, World of Warcraft. Anything I'm missing?
FFG announced 2 new coffin games at GenCon, and I'm guessing one of them is Gears of War, and the other is Rein of Power. I'm guessing the small box game is going to be the Dune retheme. I bet they'll call it....

I likes the coffin sized games. As long as the box is full then it's great. Had all of the pieces not come on sprues I think TI:3 should have been packed into a smaller box.
I was a big fan of the Gamemaster series when MB started that and hey - if you can pack a game onto a pallet and it's a good game I'd rent a forklift. Bring on the coffin games.

You know - I completely forgot about Reins of Power. I remember looking at this two years ago and just forgot about it. Is this actually going to be released this year? Looks intriguing.
There are 5 "coffin-sized" games in the FFG stable so far:
TI3
Descent
WoW: the boardgame
Tide of Iron
Starcraft
Reins of Power was announced with the second wave, i.e. ToI and Starcraft, scheduled for late 2006 to 2007. ToI came out first in spring 2007, Starcraft in fall 2007, and were still waiting for Reins. According to FFG's website, it's still in development or concept stages.
Reins was actually announced way before coffin-sized boxes, in the early days of FFG in the late 90's or early 2000's. And it's still not out.
They have some other larger than regular boxes, War of the Ring, Age of Conan and now MEQ, but they're not part of the coffin range.

Perhaps Reins of Power needs to be filed into a real coffin once and for all.
The joke has supposedly always been that when ROP comes out FFG will close down.

They should put numbers on the sides so people can collect them.
But then they'll want to replace their Protoss Reavers with wooden Reeples.

The numbers would be:
1. Twilight imperium
2. Descent
3. WoW
4. Tide of Iron
5. Starcraft
Someone get to work on those stickers pronto.

I will probably hit up Reins of Power, if that is Coffin Box #1. Not too sure about Gears of War.

I don't know a lot about this one and have largely overlooked it, possibly because of the lukewarm reception WoW:TAG received.
But I like the coffin box games I have played so far - ToI and TI3 with StarCraft on my must get list. I have already decided to pass on Descent.

Care to add a review for WoW:TBG to your "getting to it" list Skeletor?
Sure. Look out for it sometime in 2012.
