Need some UK help-Any FA:Tties near Nottingham UK?

Any of our UK FA:Tties anywhere within a reasonable distance of Nottingham, England? [This is what I get for not keeping a "F:AT Colonial Cousins" map handy]

Paging through a recent issue of that Miniatures Porn rag White Dwarf, I found a little blurb about "Bugman's Brew" boardgame--it's a little card-based fight game one step up from a DTP P&P effort--that's *only* available at "Bugman's Bar" at the Nottingham Warhammer World. No price listed, but it looks like cheap [which means nothing when it comes to GW, but still...] dopey fun.

If one of you is near enough for it to not be a big hassle, I'd be happy to cover costs for purchase, shipping, and the price of a "pint of best" if one of y'all could pick one up for me.

PM me to let me know if you can help.work out details...

I have a feeling I am the nearest at 70 miles away. It is right next to the university so you want to find a student. There was someone who posted asking for people in the Nottingham area not so long ago. I don't have a car so it would be a big expensive trip for me.

Our Spawn of Ameritrash map doesn't show much ... it will have to be one of our lurkers.

EDIT: I'm going frakkin blind - the map shows there is a F:ATie in Nottingham.

That's my buddy Joe. I'll harass him to check this thread.

I have it under good authority that he can be bought with a combination of Jelly Belly candy and hot sauce (not however, mixed together).

Pretty sure 2 miles is less than 70 :D

On a serious note, I'd be more than up for this, and the Bugmans XXXX ale is actually quite nice, having drunk there a time of two.

When were you thinking of doing this?

Jalapeño jelly bellys argue against this, silly.

What a frakkin awesome result from our Spawn of Ameritrash map - who the hell was that brilliant innovator who created it for us !

But you too can join in the worldwide exposure and be one of the many spawn - check out the discussion and instructions here - FATties Worldwide Directory .

Hey Joe. I'm in no hurry to get the game and at your mercy as far as time goes. As soon as you'd like to trek to GW Nottingham and pick up a copy of the game (or 2 if they're particularly cheap) and put a packet in the mail, I'd be happy to paypal the funds your way. Don't forget, of course, to hit me with the cost of a pint for your troubles :)

And...thanks much!

Trip Report!

Got to Bugman's bar this weekend and did indeed locate the game for sale. From your description I was expecting a shitty little mini-game, but this is a full box £30 game, so cool.

Funny thing, I was joking with Thaadd earlier about if they'd let me play any non-GW games in the bar (games workshop being rather zealous in this regard) and they've actually added a games shelf there since I was last there with, amongst other things, FFG version

Lemme know in PC where you need this posting to and I'll get it posted asap. of Talisman and Cosmic Encounters :D

Lemme know where to send it (in PM I guess) and I'll get it posted ASAP.

My mailing info has been PM'd. Let me know what the final damage is and I'll get the funds off to you via paypal [as a "gift," so you don't get hit by the ridiculous fees]

And, many many thanks to you for this. I'm pleased to know it's not a crappy little game. I do wish that the dollar weren't $1.62 against the Sterling, but, well, who cares. Even my wife looked at the description and said "hey, that sounds like dopey fun."

Anything that gets her "hey, I wanna play that" stamp is worth whatever the price.

Cheers
jch
