Battlelore, back from the dead!

This could very well be it, the expansion that pushes Battlelore over that hump of almost-AT and into true AT glory. Or at the very least, it'll feel all new again, like doing it for the very first time.

I have not been happy playing Battlelore for quite a while now, it feels too generic.

But this! This is really looking good. The Cleric feels different. I mean sure, it's still just a matter of subtracting one dice or one hit, but there's real flavor in it.

Nothing could ever make me spend money on BattleLore, with its preteen-fantasy getup.

Cleric, Rogue, Warrior, Wizard, and Commander. That's about as generic as it gets, isn't it? Pluse, it looks like they're basically the same thing as the generals and leaders from Battle-Cry and CC:A, with a few different abilities. It doesn't even look like that's going to be too such of a much either. Why would you ever take the roll "one fewer die" skills if you can choose the ones that will allow you to ignore one hit? Doesn't make sense.

If you have fun with it, that's all that matters, but if you've already declared the game dead, I don't see what difference this is going to make.

C'mon guys. Don't be hatin. Haha. I'm trying to bring back the love.

Maybe you can combo them? Make your opponent roll 1 less dice, and if anything goes through, reduce one hit, making him a really defensive hero?

It's just that this game was supposed to be "it" for me. "It" being a substitute to Warhammer/Warhammer Fantasy which I never want to try.

Meh. Wake me up when it actually exists, then maybe I'll get excited.

Was the artwork always that cartoony? Or has the age range changed to 4-6 years?

Sorry Kook- I can't imagine caring any less about a game release than this. Too little, too late. BATTLELORE was a turkey to begin with, not matter how you stuff it.

Why isn't the image insertion code working?

I drowned in all the expansions. I own two sets of Battlelore and never play them. I got all the expansions as a gift once and returned them all. That game is so disappointing to me.
