A little bit, yes. It's not a comical story, but there are definitely moments of humour in there. Although it's aimed at kids, so it's obviously much cleaner than usual!Ska_baron wrote: Woohoo! Does your irreverent and hilarious internet posting tone carry into your prose?

I am so hoping that it turns out there has been a secret war brewing for centuries under our very noses between minotaurs and gorgons.Along with his best friend, Christopher must uncover the truth behind a mysterious cult, following a trail of puzzles, codes, pranks, and danger toward an unearthly secret with the power to tear the world apart.
The most important question is when can we order signed copies from you (unless you make it to Oz on a book tour)?

One of my favourite words is 'buffet'.Sagrilarus wrote: Dude, seriously, there are some majorly hot moms out there with elementary school kids. You may not realize it yet but you're walking into a buffet.
Man, I would *love* to go to Australia. Don't know if that's in Puffin's plans, though; they own the rights to the Australian market, so any tour would be up to them (or their sister company, Penguin Australia). I'll know more much closer to the release date (Fall 2015 for North America, not sure about UK/Australia release).Ancient_of_MuMu wrote: The most important question is when can we order signed copies from you (unless you make it to Oz on a book tour)?
As for signed copies, if I'm not going to be in your area, we can also arrange that close to the release date, after the books are printed. Then, I'll be able to order copies from the publisher. It'll be hardcover first, then paperbacks to follow.

I have an 11-year-old boy (and an 8.5 who's a sharp reader).
This looks like exactly the sort of thing they'll need a copy of.
