Over on Reddit I have had a person confirm that a full box they saw at the Toronto EB Games had 16 packs and was exactly 3x Luigi, 3x Toad, 3x Fireball Mario, 2x Diddy Kong, 2x Boo, 1x Wario, 1x Rosalina, 1x Tanooki Mario. I have visited two other EB Games in Montreal and both of the opened boxes and their remaining contents were consistent with that distribution.
I was in a bit of a hurry so I didn't count each and every pack, but there were definitely more of some figs (Luigi, Boo) and only two of others (Rosalina, Tanooki Mario). FWIW, according to BGG comments most people were having problems getting the short-packed figs, and my two local Gamestops only had Luigi and Boo left.

The other option would be the Deluxe version of Citadels. We have been playing the basic version lately and enjoying it. 27 profiles--that's nuts.

Mine are on the way as well. I haven't played the game in 10 months because I wanted to wait for a higher player count. Then I kind of forgot about it.repoman wrote: Ordered the Cadassian and Ferengi expansions to Star Trek: Ascendancy. Here's to hoping the long wait was worth it.

I'm not a huge fan of the game even though Kevin Wilson turned me on to a few plays of it at FFG a few years ago. It just never stuck with me even though its novel. I hated the marketing of quarriors as a blind buy with super heroes pasted on to it. But I think the kids may enjoy it a bit. If not, I won't lose any money if I decide to sell it.

Prices were a bit higher than last year, but they were still super cheap. Typical eurogames for 20-25€, big 60€ titles at 35€ and so on. And there was a lot of good stuff. At first I thought that, being the second day and having at least 50 people in front, I would not be able to find anything good, but damn, I did! A quick search gave me a lot of options but settled on three games,
Cosmic Encounter + Cosmic Incursion (42€)
March of the Ants (35€)
German Railways (20€)
I thought that grabing three games would be greedy and I was getting Cosmic for sure, so I discarded German Railways. March of the Ants was a risk: It's a game I'm buying untested and one I know is not a 10 out of 10 or a classic, but simply a solid game.
My thinking was that, well, I also know it isn't bad game either and I was sure to actually enjoy it even if it's not a classic. It's a genre I like, it has a cool, different theme and it just seems wellmade. So I decided to take a risk and get it. I hope to try it soon! I'm also eyeing comments on the expansion as it's not expensive, either.
After the convention we went to play with out new ill-gotten gains. We had a fourth player so we played Cosmic Encounter and the group absolutely loved it! We laughed a ton and they kept being amazed at how "broken" all powers were. We played it four times in a row
By the way, both were unpunched and Cosmic Encounter's expansion was in shrink. I truly don't get gamers sometimes haha

I was expecting to be interested in it, but the Codex has actually gives a really deep look into what went into such a massive game. It's not as good as playing the game itself obviously, but it does provide its own kind of satisfaction. I find myself picking it up to read a few pages whenever I get a spare moment.

Now that I know this exists.... I just ordered a copy.
