At my FLGS's annual sale this weekend, I grabbed the two Blood Bowl team packs: Skavenblight Scramblers and Dwarf Giants for myself along with My First Carcassonne for my mini-human and a clearance copy of Infinity: Operation Red Veil.

I'm eager to try out Infinity, but I want to at least finish up my Skitarii Battle Maniple before painting anything new. It will also be a nice break from Mechanicus stuff before doing the Cult Mechanicus portion of the War Convocation.

I found a good deal for much of the Memoir 44 games/expansions I wanted. Very excited to add it to my collection.

I found a copy of San Marco today at savers for $3. Sadly, only the board and cards are in the box. All cubes and bridges missing.

Cubes will be easy to replace. Have to figure something out for bridges. Not a huge euro fan, but its a good 3 player area control game I have been dying to play since I last played it over a 15 years ago. Might be worth the effort just to turn around and sell it to someone else if I can complete it, since it is grossly out of print.

Yeah, San Marco is a great little game, and even incomplete that's kind of a steal at 3 bucks. I've seen second-hand prices for that game well into the hundreds of dollars, and rarely less than $50 or $60.

I purchased the BattleLore 2ed collection from a seller on BGG for 150 shipped. The miniatures are surprisingly nice. I have really fallen for the Command & Colors system. Thankfully, I have reached my saturation point....until they do a proper medieval version (1100+) or something that represents combat in Southern Asia.

500 years too early?

I would guess that they will expand the Medieval into the later years. It is at least non-Eurocentric theatre, but not enough to spark my interest yet.

Give me stuff set during the Norman Conquest, the Hundred Years War, the Crusades, or the War of the Roses and I am spending my money. 600 AD is a bit too early for me.

Would this be a good thread in which to leave my latest for SU&SD?

I agree, this is a surprisingly great game! Gorgeous production as well.

I'm just giving you trouble, I took your comment of "to remind me not to buy any more games on a whim" as meaning it didn't live up to expectations.

It took every ounce of restraint not to pick up Escape From Colditz 75th off of Amazon today.

Fuck... Me Want. I just know it will be a beautiful paperweight.

Don't know if this will be a kickstarter or not, but the figures look nice:
