My master and commander has assigned me
the illustrious task of picking through the clearance racks at Miniature Market and doing reviews.

The issue is that while I have several of them because I got a gift certificate from a friend for me berfday, I am looking for gems in the pile.

So far I got
REDACTED
Mars Attacks The Dice Game
Dice Heist

Are there any here that I should look into?

Those two Hobbit dice games are fun although $20 each seems a lot for the US but they do have nice bits. You can get Sons of Anarchy and both expansions pretty cheap ;-)

Masques is a really neat little game that took me by surprise a few years ago when I first played it, 'cause on the surface it doesn't look like much. Turns out it's a great jockeying-for-position game with a surprising amount of screwage.

Greed is also a great little title at that price point. It's got a fun, seedy theme, nice artwork and in true Donald X fashion it runs real lean and mean mechanically.

City Hall I would definitely recommend.
Also really enjoyed Road Kill Rally, but it's been on clearance forever.
Have heard good things about Rattlebones and Lagoon, but haven't played either.

Sidibaba is neat and has bits of old timey first person computer RPGs where all you saw was a hallway that would branch off in various right angles. It is an all vs one game where the party of players is spelunking seeking treasure. The one controls the maze they are exploring and displays boards that shows the hallway from the party's perspective. It is a pretty neat game and pretty singular.

B-Sieged was a game dogged by an early Tom V negative review. Post review a few rules that were "accidentally" omitted were released as well as a rules to add in a difficulty level. The game is a cooperative tower defense game which is very tactical and difficult. Card flipping, dice rolling and great production. The base game and hero expansion will give you enough variety to start off.

Arcana is one of the few deck builders I like because it actually makes sense. I also think it predates Dominion. You are building a gang/guild and you do that by sending your members out to recruit who is available and your members are skilled at talking to certain types of people better. The reality is recruitment turns into an auction part blind part visible depending on where the recruit is and your table position. There are also a half dozen or so variants that can be added as desired.

Sidibaba is awesome, you just need a larger group for it to really shine.
