Granted it's a videogame, but I don't get this. I mean...what about Relic? What does this mean?

Huh. Seems like GW just farming out licenses. They probably didn't model it on Relic, since they'd have to include FFG, since it's a design of the latter on GW's IP, rather than a wholly licensed product like Talisman, which is an original design of GW. There's WAY too much visual clutter in there. It looks like Dawn of War 2, where everything had to have glitter and flashing lazors emerging from it. Cool Blanche-like imagery on the units, though.
